请问一下About two thousand students能否是about thousands of students

ABOUT后是否一定要加准确的two thousand ？

准确的说两者不能等同！前者是大约两千学生，数目比较确定；而后者直译过来是大约数以千计的学生，是形容人多，Eg:there were thousands of people at the concert.有数以千计的人出席这次音乐会。（在这里是形容出席音乐会的人很多）
about 后可以加two thousand.表示说话人不确定到底是不是两千人！

也不一定,two thousand students表示一个确数(2000名学生) 而thousands of studentss 表示一个约数(成千上万名学生)

意思不一样的！
