Ikenoshita（日本池之下剧团） was organized by Kazufumi Nagano et al in January 1996, aspiring after a new vision of synergy of theater and terpsichorean art. We, Ikenoshita, started a series of performances of Shuji Terayama’s early works in August 1996 and have worked to reveal unknown phases of Terayama’s works. We also developed a plan to perform all the works of Shuji Terayama in March 1999.
