Situation: Two mothers, Carmen and Judy, are talking to each at a park while their children are playing. They have a friendly relationship, but are not close friends
Carmen: hi Judy.(Judy and Carmen’s children begin playing together in the sand.)

Carmen: Fine .I’m glad to see that our children like to play together.

I think the strange childen when they have same habits ,they will become good friends.Although sometime they have arguement ,friengship is also very important .The parents do not worry about them.It is more longer the friengship will be more deep!

我觉得judy的态度比较诚恳，而Carmen更像在敷衍。
如果从跨文化交流的角度来解释的话，事实上这可能造成一种误解。使Carmen没把judy的话当真。
当然也有可能judy是在讲客气话~但我更倾向与前者
我感觉也是，carmen更像是在说客套话，judy是真心实意的希望孩子们能多在一起玩
