UC知道在DOS下安装系统出现问题，高手请进

你好，高手！
我用U盘做了一个启动盘，里面有smartdrv和ntfspro，我的硬盘里全部分区都是NTFS的，进入DOS后运行smartdrv和ntfspro(看起来应该可以用)，然后依次输入f:->cd winxp\i386->winnt，之后出现蓝色的屏幕提示确认安装源路径（到这里都很正常），按回车后过了几秒在蓝色的屏幕上出现了这些字：
Setup was unable to install Windows Boot Loader.
Ensure that your C: drive is formatted and that the drive is not damaged.
Setup cannot continue.Press ENTER to Exit.
这是怎么回事。应该怎么办。
用format后出现：Cannot format an ASSIGNed or SUBSTed drive.

用format后出现：Cannot format an ASSIGNed or SUBSTed drive.
意思是你的C盘没有被格式化或者已经损坏，先格式化C盘后再试一下安装程序
C: drive is formatted and that the drive is not damaged
要先格式化C盘，
先要确认你要格式化的盘是否C盘（dir /w)
格式化：format X: /s /q
