摘 要
当前会计的改革已经逐步与国际接轨，在改革进程中，越来越多的会计工作者已经认识到现代企业制度和现代化管理的重要性。事实上，要把传统的事后记账、算账、报账转变为有效的实现预测、事中控制、事后分析，依靠原来的手工记账是非常困难的，先进的管理手段对于会计信息化的普及工作极为重要。
本文论述了会计电算化的含义、发展历程及局限性，会计信息化的含义及特点，并对会计电算化和会计信息化进行了比较，探析了会计信息化的几个重要特点和发展方向。指出了大力推进会计信息化的发展，已成为我国经济社会发展新阶段重要而紧迫的战略任务。
