白菜在我国菜蓝子中占重要地位，其生产的好坏直接影响到蔬菜市场供应和人民生活。为了提高白菜产量和抗逆性，试验研究用液氮（-196℃）对3个品种的小白菜种子进行处理，对其生长发育和抗寒性进行试验。结果表明，经液氮超低温处理种子的小白菜生长发育比对照组好，香港黑叶白菜白菜经超低温处理后，在寒冷环境下死亡率有所减少；严选香港奶白菜无差异；矮脚黄叶水口白菜死亡率大大降低。试验为白菜的栽培及抗逆育种提供了有力的理论依据。

Chinese cabbage plays an important part in baskets in China, and so the quality of Chinese cabbage affect directly the vegetable market and people's life.
In order to advance the productivity of Chinese cabbage and the resistibility against severe circumstances, the liquid nitrogen(-196℃) was used to process 3 varieties of Chinese cabbage seeds in this research, testing their growth and cold resistance.

The results showed that seeds after processed by liquid nitrogen grew better than the comparison sample(without low-temperature processed);
The Hongkong Dark-leaf Pakchoi showed a fall in the death rate under cold condition after being processed;
