other 一般都加 the 吗？

不是的 只有当有范围存在的时候才加
比如： There are three people in the room. One is Chinese, and the other two are American. 这里用the是因为前面已经说了三个人这个范围
但是，再比如： Some students go to school by bike, and some other students on foot. 这里没有说范围，比如说哪个学校，哪个班级的，都没提到，所以是泛指，就不用the

other后既可接可数名词复数形式又可接不可数名词，如：可数，other pencils 其它的铅笔，other students 其他的学生。不可数other tea 别的/其它的茶，other information 别的/其它消息。

the other 定指其它的……，其后可接可数名词和单数，如：
