关于 and 及谓语动词

There be句型中，be的选择取决于紧跟在后面的名词是单数还是复数，看下面两个例子就很清楚了：
There is a pen and two books on the desk.
There are two books and a pen on the desk.
所以第一题的主语是a knife，单数，选A。
第二题的主语是两个人he and I， 所以就用了are.

A 这里表示各是各的 ， 不是说两者一起
他和我都是学生 ， 是对整体的一个概念 ，不表示单个

2等同于We are students
