北京奥运会——我的骄傲
On Aug. 24th , as the curtain dropped signaling the end of the the Games of the 29th Olympiad, people were left with a deep impression of the joy and excitement it had brought.Not only we Chinese people,but also people around the world could not forgot the 16 glorious days which we will cherish forever. Gratulations and praise began to flood in.We could feel the world is truly proud of the Beijing Olympic Games.
As a Beijinger , I could see how Beijing was changed by the Olympics. People became more aware of their behaviors and the number of people who goes to foreign language classes grew rapidly through out the last 7 years. No cutting in lines, nor spitting on the floor. There were hard times for people with these habits to make a change, but they did not complain. People around the globe can now find Beijing open to them as we cherish every guest from near or far just like what our great sage of Confucius had taught thousands of years ago. A visit to Beiji
