我们学校采用的是指针式水表,对其进行读数是由人工完成的,随着计算机图像处理技术的不断发展,我们提出了应用数字图像处理技术开发水表读数自动识别系统,以实现对已采集的水表表头图像由计算机进行自动识别并读取表头读数的方案。
本课题研究的是将图像处理技术应用于指针式水表的读数识别,结合了指针式水表的具体结构特点分析了将图像处理技术应用于自动水表水表指数的原理,找到了一种满足一定精度要求的水表读数识别方法。该方法主要包括水表图像预处理、图像分割以及指针读数识别。
根据指导老师所给的水表表头图像作为研究对象,本论文在对水表的图像预处理中用到了图像二值化、图像灰度化、图像腐蚀、图像膨胀、图像细化和结构闭等数字图像处理技术;在图像分割中提出了最常用的两种图像分割法:阀值分割法和hough(哈夫)变换分割法,并在最后采用了针对本研究对象的矩形框分割法,简单而方便;在指针读数识别中利用hough变换法提取指针角度 并根据指针式水表的表盘几何特性从而识别出指针读数。
