Another question might be if we should trust that we didn't reach an invalid state? And if we against all odds did reach an invalid state (a really invalid one, such as an erroneous change when the state of the order is Ordered), should we allow that to be stored?

另一个问题是,我们到底是不是应该坚信我们(实际上指计算机)绝对不会跑到一个无效的状态中去呢?假如我们偏偏就真的进入了一个无效的状态(一个绝对无效状态,比如the state of order在被重新排序的时候),我们应不应该允许把这种状态(或这个错误数据)存储下来?

无效状态,可能也可以译为非法状态吧。具体的看你的专业词汇怎么说了。
the state of order我说不好准确该翻成啥,不过根据我的理解,我觉得是指磁存储元件0-1或1-0转换的过程。不过反正,这只是举一个无效状态的例子而已。啥叫无效状态我相信你肯定明白。。。那么这个例子就无所谓了。
