我觉得前面不应该是PLAY 而是PLAYING
如果换PLAYING的话 无论后面是PET 还是PETS
谓语都是is
因为playing with pet/pets是动名词做主语
2是the question is easy enough for him to answer
1.pets吧，代指一类事物，用单数
2. The question (is)(not)( easy)for him ( to)(answer ).
