Olmypic, the window of China
On the evening of June 13th in 2001, when Samaranch announced that the 29th Olympic Games would be held in Beijing, all Chinese were excited. We expected its coming.
After 8 years’ effort, the Olympic Games came. On August 8th, the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony began. It showed the history of china. That evening belonged to the developing China, belonged to the modern Beijing.
A long paper was put on the floor of the National Gym. The culture of China was showed by it. Confucius’s 3000 students recited the poem. 4 inventions of China, puppets’ Peking Opera show and the Silk Road all moved me a lot. These performances described the history river of China. It gave the world a shocking view. Every Chinese was proud of the creative show. It was a memorable evening.
