across,cross和throuth的区别

cross 是动词，比较好区分
across和through是介词，两个却是比较容易混

across through
1a．作“穿过”或“横穿而过”讲，这两个介词几乎是同义，但不一定能通用：前者所表达的“宽度”这一概念不如后者广阔和辽远。
例如：Auntie Jane has walked across the wheat field for home．
珍妮阿姨已走过麦田回家了。
The lake was frozen，so we all walked across the ice．湖面结了冰，因此我们大家都从冰面上走过去。
It took us two hours to walk through the forest．人们花了两个小时走出森林。
The Great Wall snakes its way though the mountains．长城蜿蜓穿过群山。

1b．而且，前者所表示的行动是在表层进行，而后者则是在三维空间进行。
例如：I walked across the square to the cafe．我走过广场到了咖啡馆。
I pushed through the crowds to the bar．我穿过人群来到酒吧间。
比较：The ball rolls across the grass on which it stands．这个球在草地上滚动。（草长得短）
The ball rolls through the grass in which it stands．这个球在草地里滚动。（草长得长）

1c．如果是横穿细长的沿面，只能使用前者，不用后者。
例如：She swam across the river．她游到河的对面。
Let's walk across the road．让我们越街而过吧。
