Packet scheduler sends the new arrival packet to its
corresponding MAC queue unless it belonging to a new flow.
The packet of a new flow is sent to the flow priority
requirement analyzer (PRA) to identify its traffic type and
QoS requirements. Packet scheduler creates a new queue for
the new flow based on the analyze results if there does not
exist appropriate queue for it. The QoS requirements are
declared in the first packet of a flow. Each queue in the MAC
layer involves three modules, CW adapter, queue monitor and
channel monitor. CW adapter is responsible for adjusting its
contention window size based on priority requirements and
channel/queue state. Queue monitor detects the packet
number in the queue and the data arrival rate real time, and
the channel monitor detects the channel contention state of
this virtual station. Both of them report their monitoring data
