Advantages of living in a small town: There's little traffic, pollution, plenty of space... generally the cost of living is lower. If you've grown up there, knowing everyone or knowing someone that knows that person means that there is probably little violent crime. (not unheard of entirely but probably the worst you get is a brawl at the local pub or domestic disputes) IF you happen to be lucky enough to live in a small town within reasonable driving distance to a larger city, the commute makes up for the pay increase. Alot more privately owned businesses, boutiques, resturaunts, ect. There are actually alot more stars in the sky than you normally would see in a city. Most places have yards... extreme small towns and outskirts of those, you have miles between neighbors, which means... no one knocking on your door at 3 am to tell you to keep it down. trying to get enough rebellious young persons together to START a gang is challenging enough, let alone 2 of them for "te
