1. the importance of international trade
From the view of a country, international trade means external/foreign trade. Foreign trade is closely related with the economic growth of a country. It is able to stimulate and promote the growth of a country's economy. It's main function is to export overplus goods and import goods needed domestically. So as to balance the trade and increase the country's income.

2.Definition of international trade
Trade is a voluntary exchange of goods or services, which is also called business/commerce. Trade is carried out in a market. The original trade is to barter, which means to exchange goods or services directly. While in the international trade, the exchanges of goods and services are across the boundaries of states or sectors. In most countries, it's an important part of GDP.
