表被动的状态啊，又不是表伴随。
比如说He sat there,lost himself in the wonderful music.不能说成losing himself in the music.

sink的过去分词。 be sunken in sth.沉浸在。。情绪中。。词组
如果选B。现在分词表示主动作某事。那就成了她主动往下沉的意思了。不符合句意。
过去分词可以作形容词。表示状态。
比如 i am interested in the book.就是动词interest的过去分词的形容词用法对。。。感兴趣
