1.there existed和existes均可。是时态的问题。
2.是倒装句，你看看倒装句的构成方法就很简单了。
3.还是倒装。

独立主格+倒装
1.如果是填空的话，我觉得there is也对
2.C.hard as diamond is ，基本的倒装句式,即使钻石很硬，adj+as+主+谓
3.这是个陈述句，而不是疑问句，主谓不用倒装
1 there existed.. 难道你要用there be 结构吗。 exist本身就是动词
2 c 形容词+as 再句首，用倒装 固定的
3diffcult english 主语 however 不是疑问词 所以不可以however is
