Problem with dell studio 15 laptop and cox wireless

My laptop can not connect to the cox wireless. Other computers/laptops do not have this problem. And when I go to Best Buy, the wireless works well. They said I might need a software to connect the laptop to router, but I cannot find one. Is there anyone who can give me some advice?
I can speak Chinese, just I'm not convenient to type in Chinese right now.
