UC知道求翻译，，，关于插入语和一些逻辑关系问题

现在在练习雅思作文，看到很多范文里句子用的比较复杂，有一些插入语，但是我看的很混乱，有些句子联系起来看感觉看不明白。。。刚刚提过一个类似的问题，。。。这是第二个句子，请各位帮忙看看，顺便讲解下如何理解。。
These days there is a growing tendency for college students to have difficultes in finding jobs when they graduate. A large number of people hold the opinion that lack of practical knowledge, among other things, contributes to the situation.
这个句子说毕业生工作难找，有人认为缺乏实践知识，除了其他事情，有助于工作。 看的我一头雾水 这个要怎么去理解呢，还是说有些词的意思我弄错了？

这个句子说毕业生工作难找，有人认为缺乏实践知识，除了其他事情，有助于工作。 看的我一头雾水 这个要怎么去理解呢，还是说有些词的意思我弄错了？
翻译：这些日子大学生毕业后找工作难的趋势越来越大。很多人认为，除了其他（因素）之外，缺乏实践经验也有助于形势的造成。
These days there is a growing tendency(趋势).这些日子有增长的趋势。
什么趋势？大学生毕业后找工作难的趋势。
且不看插入语。
很多人认为，lack of practical knowledge contributes(贡献) to the situation(局势).
前半句楼主理解正确，缺乏实践知识，可那是有助于当前恶劣的局势，不是有助于工作。
Among other things,除了别的以外。
加进去：除了别的以外，缺乏实践知识有助于局势。（一般插入语是加在前面）
理一理就是上面那样了
