My plan for travelling, Invitation for foreigners

Hello，everybody。As you know,my summer holiday is coming.As a student, I'm looking forwards to travelling!So these days,I'm planing to go somewhere interiseting.
First,I will go to Beijing.Because Beijing is the capital city of China,and it held the 2008 Olypics in 2008.So it is necessary for me to visit there to realize our country more.
Second,I used to have a few foreign pen pals,so,I want to use this holiday to visit them,and I think it's a great chance for me to improve my English and maybe I will have more foreign friens!
Do these ideas sound great?I will be happy during this holiday!
