At first, let me talk about the teaching material. This unit is about environment This lesson is very important for students to learn since it is a multi-purpose text which aims at developing a number of skills of students simultaneously. The topic is related to the daily life, and the text is so interesting and educating that it will entertain the students and hold their attention. In addition, the lesson can help to build up the Ss’ attitude towards the environment As for the students, they are young, and curious about their life and everything around them, however they have something weak in learning English. So based on these analyses, the goals in this lesson are set as follow:

Ability goal : improving reading skills: skimming , scanning , generalization, inference
