I think that students should not stay at school on weekends.First of all. Parents haven't seen their child for a whole week. So they are looking forword to seeing their child.But if students stay at school on weekends.They won't have the chance to go home and get together with their parents.Sencondly If the students do not go home ,They can't help their parents with their housework.so Their parents will probably get tired.Thrdly, If students go home on weekends, They will get enough rest and entertainment at home.So as you can see .Stundents should not stay at school on weekends.
