非谓语作定语的一道题目~~

应是remaining 10 pounds,那为什么10 pounds remained不可以呢?

remaining 剩余的；剩下的

remain 是不及物动词。如果用10 pounds remained，就等于10 pounds (which was remained),不及物动词用了被动语态形式，显然不正确。
当然可以说：10 pounds that remained

楼上的几位讲得基本都不对！
一楼的：10 pounds remained这种格式是对的，所以一楼的讲错了。
二楼的：10 pounds remained 不指过去！表示的是一种状态.
三楼的同志讲得不全面，因为remain可用作Vi ，也可以就当作普通V来用。

如果想用 10 pounds remained ，那就需要把前面的the去掉。
因为：the remaining...=...remained
在本题中即:the remaining 10 pounds = 10 pounds remained

remain 是不及物动词,不及物动词没有被动语态，它的非谓语只能是ing形式

remain 10 pounds 是不对的，remain是不及物的。
只能用 remaining
10 pounds remained也可有啊，不过是指过去时
