一个英语题 不明白

这个是把状语提前了，做插入语。
正常语序you can see as far as the old temple on top the mountain when the sky is clear, but not today.
当天空清楚的时候，你能够尽可能远地看到处在山上的老庙，但不是今天。

意思是：
当天空晴朗的时候，你可以看到远处的山顶上的那座古老的庙宇，但是今天不行。

所以是when

也可以写成：
when the sky is clear ,you can see as far as the old temple............

when引导时间状语从句,当天空很蓝的时候.
当天空很蓝的时候,但不是今天,你可以远眺到山顶的那座旧庙!

when the sky is clear, You can see as far as the old temple on top the mountain,but not today.

如果天气好，你可以看到很远的山顶上的庙宇，但今天看不到。
