It depends on how you define the atmosphere you are talking about the word "rich".
If you think this argument is based on today's world, and "being rich" is to make money from this capitalism dominated society, I would like to answer no to this question. Top classes make easy money while workers do not get what they deserve, and this type of economic hierarchy keeps stretching the difference between rich and poor. There was also a very aggressive Christian theory, which I do not really like, suggests that your wealth (blessing from God) is distributed (by God) according to your work. By looking at today's society effort and benefit is not balanced at all. After all, it seems that rich people do not deserve to be rich.
