UC知道关于force用法的问题

force 有force to do sth.这个词组，尤其是force sb. to do 没有force do可是我见过电脑系统中有force shut down(强制关机)。请问到底有没有force do 这个词组？与force to do 有什么区别呢？

force是动词，后面不能直接跟另一个动词，只能跟不定式，就是force to do.
或者可以做及物动词用force something
force shutdown后面是连在一起的，也是force sth的结构
这里force shutdown或者force shut down，这里force与shutdown都是名词，属于English teacher之类的复合名词。例如：I must do a force shut down by holding the power button.
