predator 掠食动物；捕食动物
carnivore 肉食动物
有的动物吃肉但不掠食，比如食腐动物
所以: All predators are carnivores, but not all carnivores are predators.
人们习惯用predator的引申义，表示奴役他人者，而carnivore单纯指的是食肉动物
