高中英语（介词）补分~~

1.看一下except的用法，会发现通常它所在句子的主语和它后接的词都不是指同一个人或物，如：
We all went except John.
除了约翰外, 我们都去了。
而且你要将except放进去意思也不太对，语感很重要。
2.有“以...为背景; 对照”的意思，如：
The pine trees were black against the morning sky.
在早晨天空的映照下, 那些松树呈黑色。
3.drop in/by 顺便拜访（偶然拜访）
drop in on sb 拜访某人
drop in at some place 到某地走走
注意在in\by后边一般不接，接的话是接地点，表拜访人的时候用on。
4.算是固定用法，with后接人，但for也是可以的
