into [表示时间]进入到
into the night 固定搭配有深夜的意思
例如 ：work far [well] into the night
工作到深夜
in the night是在夜里的意思。
熬夜肯定是指很晚到深夜了。
不到深夜也就不算是熬夜。
所以用into the night,不用in.
