请解释一下选C的原因。主要是无法理解"not Hamilton the manager"

表示两者中较…的一个，用the+比较级。the manager做同位语，不是叫…的那个经理，特指那个经理，所以加the.

此句是一个倒装，如果这样写看看是不是顺眼一点。
I spoke to the younger Mr.Hamilton, not the manager Hamilton.
