几道状语从句的题目

Q1:I will put the book {where} you placed it and make a mark at the place {at which} I put it. 这两空的区别在哪? 为什么which前要用介词?

Q2:When he reads books , his habit is to make a mark {wherever} the meaning is unclear to him. 为什么不能用 in which ?

Q3:by the time ; at the time ; at a time ; at one time 分别是什么意思

前一空没有先行词，一定要用where；后一空也可以用where，但是当where和介词+疑问代词都可以时，首选后者，这就是他们的区别。
是状语从句咯，所以要用介词，不然就不是状语从句，具体我也说不清楚，这种题目还可以靠点感觉，是第一感觉。

这一句和上面的第一空是一个类型啊，没有先行词，没有说是哪个位置，如果是in which的话，那么which指代什么呢，在which之前并没有这样一个名词，也就是没有先行词。

截止到某个时间之前，一般用完成时态；
在某个时间点或段（这个不确定）；
每一次，表示频度；
曾经，一般用过去式；
