My name is also Claire,I have stayed in US for a couple of years. My friends there told me this is quite a normal name, not so impressive, but not bad. Some even said it was quite a female name, reminding people of a very pretty girl or woman. I dont care too much about name, it's just a label.

感觉是那种做事情比较利落的不依赖人的女性的名字。感觉外国人对姓名的研究不多，不像中国咬文嚼字的，外国热的名字起的比较随便，布什的BUSH在英语中是灌木丛的意思，，，所以外国人名字这个事不能按字面意思去看。
