新概念英语二第63课中有句话“one of Jeremy's closest friends asked him to make a sppech”,为什么closest前面不加the而为最高级？
you are my best friend 也不加the 最高级起修饰作用
形容词最高级前有序数词、物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格等限定词修饰时,最高级前不用the。如:
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China. 黄河是中国第二长河。
习惯用语。
因为Jeremy's 已经确定了范围。所以不能再加定冠词
