as if = as though = (好像) = 引导副词子句*** 表示 (强烈假定)
He speaks as if he were a teacher.

主要子句---现在式---副词子句---假设用过去式
出现了as if ,表虚拟，实际上他并不懂这个，而他假装懂得。
在英语语法里，用一般过去式表示虚拟。
