用英语描写和父母一起制作晚餐的过程

Today I prepared a dinner with my parents. It had been long since last time the three of us spent some time together so we really valued the opportunity. My dad made the chicken soup while I mixed a type of fusion salad with fresh oranges, almonds, rosemary and Chinese cabbage. My mom made the noodles and prepared the dinner table as usual. I'd never spent that much time in the kitchen throughtout my life. Although t wasn't a feast, all of us were satisfied. We had great fun and made plans to prepare a dinner together next weekend as well.
