Facing 还是Faced ？

这是主动被动的问题。

第一个。因为有with。所以可以换成。we are faced with so much trouble so that we failed...

第二个是主动的。所以是he facing such a difficult problem so that he
did't know what to do.

有with，通常用过去分词，没有with，就用现在分词。
意思是一样的

face是个及物动词，后面可以直接跟名词
faced with其实是be faced with来的，你只要记着用过去分词就和with搭配就好了

非谓语动词的ing和pp 只是针对主动或被动而言的前面是被动 be faced with 而后面的是主动 facing with
