为什么要用and？能不能帮忙说明一下在用英语读数时什么时候加and？

10，400 ten thousand and four hundred ??好像有问题啊，10千的零在末尾，应该不加and呀？

除了百之后就要加and, 还有中间有空位，也就是中间有0的时候，也要加and，
就像你的问题，再给你举几个例子：

不管中间有几个零都要加and。

10，400 ten thousand and four hundred 这不是中间有隔位么，所以有and

百之后就要加and.如：
156 读作：one hundred and fifty six
106 读作：one hundred and six
156,106 读作：one hundred and fifty six thousand one hundred and six
3005 虽然百位数是零，但百位数之后的and却不能省。
