clever 的反义词，为什么是stupid不是foolish

stupid ：“笨”，着重生理迟钝，反应迟钝。

foolish：“蠢”，着重缺乏智慧或判断力，多用于贬义。

silly:“傻”，着重头脑简单，不懂事，有单纯、糊涂的意味，可特指小孩的举动。

clever：聪明的，善于学习的。灵巧的，机敏的。

我个人认为两个都可以。

clever指一个人天资聪明，stupid指天生愚笨
而foolish指很愚蠢，与天资无关，就是说一个天生聪明的人也可能做些傻事，所以clever和stupid是配套的，这时牛津词典的解释：
clever：quick at learning and understanding things; intelligent
stupid：slow to learn or understand things; not intelligent or clever
foolish：(of people) lacking good sense or judgement
