英语语法几题

1 leaving 因为是表伴随所以就用v-ing
open 表状态所以原型

2 意思是 我更喜欢有一个属于自己的房间 虽小但是比和别人挤一间屋子强。
整个的句子结构是“would rather do A than do B”
所以前面是“have a room”是A
后面的“share a room ”是B.

应该是这样没错的

第一个是状语从句，表状态，让门处在开着的状态
第二个是would rather do ……than do……的固定句式。中间那个是插入语，置之不理即可

2、would rather do ……than do……的固定句式

首先 第一句不是从句 是hearing，leaving现在分词作伴随动作 简单点说hearing the news,leaving the door open.都是作状语
open 形容词. 表状态 保持门开着

第二句 把中间的句子放后面（或者前面） 就可以看成是 i'd rather have a room of my own than share a room with others，however small it is.
有个短语rather do than do所以 空中要填原型 share.. with 固定搭配 和..人分享..
