where (do)you friends come from?为什么不用are而用do?
what is the climate like in frence?为什么要用be动词呀？
my sister likes spring best.为什么不是my sister the best likes spring.

1.如果用are,则不用come. come from=be from
2.be like像什么，怎么样，如果不用be,则like的意思为：喜欢。
3.best是修饰like的。你那种说法是受到了汉语的影响！另外，最高级前面不能用定冠词the修饰！
