〔摘要〕 本文基于近年来大学生诚信缺失的现状，论述了诚信的内涵、大学生诚信教育的意义，指出大学生诚信教育是大学生诚信教育是传承和发扬中华民族传统美德的需要；是构建和谐社会、和谐校园的需要；是发展社会主义市场市场经济的客观要求；是大学生为人立世、培养建康人格、提高自身道德素质的重要支撑；是促进社会主义精神文明建设和素质教育的前提和需要。同时分析大学生诚信缺失的原因，即来自社会、家庭、学校等方面的因素。在此基础上，提出加强大学生诚信教育的有效途径，即构建诚信社会、建立和完善诚信奖惩机制及社会信用体系、重视家庭和学校诚信教育、建构网络诚信教育等措施。
