新概念的问题不懂！！高手求救！！

型概念四自学中，遇到了一些很麻烦的问题，求助！

1:the peoples, the Americans怎么有s？美国人前面+THE?
2:even if one did not know from concret examples,有know from 这个用法？
3：the nations work themselves into furies over these absurd games.什么是work themselves into ？
4：electric electronic electrical怎么分别使用！
5：he instructs the bank to debit his account什么是debit his account？
6：agreement accord pact有区别吗
7my particular experience is largely in XX是什么意思？
8：Once we get down to the oil,中get down to 不是认真研究的意思吗，可以说是到达石油？

3.这句话没太看懂，wrok oneself into 使变得……大概意思应该是：这些国家在这些荒唐的游戏面前变得疯狂

adj.和电有关的，充电的
electronic adj.电子的 （手机、电脑、MP3这些是电子的）
electrical 大多数时候和electric差不多，也可以表示电气的，电气科学。

2.know from 和know of ，kown about差不多，都是知道了解的意思。

意思应该是：这些国家在这些荒唐的游戏面前变得疯狂
