四级翻译的问题

我的一些答案和书上的不同 但我觉得好像没有错
求各位高手解答

能不能用a serial of ???

第一句不行，regardless是adj,在这里需要一句状语从句

第二句不行，不能两句句子，这句话如果是
It was the fourth biggest city in the United States ,but St.Louis has now become the 24th largest city.
就可以了

第三句不行，serial=a series of 一系列的

第四句就意思来说是可以的，tend to be tired more easily than before

第五句同第一句

第六句不行，account for表原因，take sth. into account 是固定搭配

第七句..习惯是说following address的不是嘛。。address below老美似乎不这么用，

英语不过是种语言，老外习惯怎么用就该怎么用，语法是中国人想出来便于学习的，所以尤其是应试教育，很多句式看多用多了就自然上口了，LZ别钻牛角尖就好

你的最大毛病就是没有培养对英语的思考习惯，你的翻译还有待进步。不要养成用中文直接翻译的毛病……
1.regardless是忽略……不计的意思。在这里“不管”=“无论……”.做条件状语从句。
2.St.Louis 做主语。而这个主语放在了后面。如果用it was ……就有两个主语了，语法不对……
3.serial一般指电视连续剧的“一系列……”
4.tend一般讲的是事情的发展趋势，身体条件一般不能用。
5.还是那个问题，建议买一本带英语解释的字典，还要有例子的……
6.account for 你查字典了没?是“解释/说明……的原因”的意思。
7.at the address below句子不通……你读一下就出来了……
