《新概念第二册》LESSON 67火山一课，最后一句"He has been able to tell us more about active volcanoes than any man alive"中，alive一词是表语性形容词，不能作定语。但是课文注释第六条中，说alive是man的定语，这是为什么？如果是定语，为什么放在最后？如果不是定语，是什么成分？

alive 是什么成分啊？补语或定语？

是定语。
alive 的固定用法就是放在被修饰的词后面。

活著的任何人===any man alive (ADJ)

alive === (ADJ) [[ 不能放 (N. ) 的前面 ]]****
more alive , the most alive

The lion ate the monkey alive.

We found the poor bird still alive.

alive是形容词，作定语~~~
放在名词后面哒~~~
说明这些人是活着的人~~
如果放在前面应该是living了~~
这里是alive~
