询问孩子在国外的寄宿情况 英文

我的孩子在加拿大上高中，现在寄宿在当地的一个家庭里，我想要给寄宿家发个邮件询问一下孩子的近况，大概就是孩子的作息时间，饮食情况，生活习惯，是不是有很多的时间用在学习上，诸如此类。请问我都有什么是不可以问的？最好有英文版，十分感谢
