What will be discussed here is to whom international law applies or, in other words, who are the subjects of international law. In municipal systems, there are certain entities, individuals or companies, possessing rights and duties enforceable at law. They may sue or be sued for breach of law. This capacity of possessing rights and duties is termed by law as having and maintaining‘legal personality’,and those entities with such capacity are recognized by law as‘legal persons’
