请教关于英国大学英语翻译专业MA申请问题

我221大学非英语专业（学的是一个东欧小语种），目前雅思只有7分，（听力7.5;阅读8;写作6;口语7），想申请MA in translation and interpretation, 准备申请巴斯、纽卡、利兹和曼彻斯特四所学校。
目前没达到巴斯和曼彻斯特大学写作的最低要求，还在犹豫要不要现在就递交申请。想问一下各位高人关于申请和面试的程序以及经验。比如英国巴斯等高校翻译专业大约每届招收多少个学生，有没有必要和教授套磁？
除了巴斯我还想申请纽卡斯尔翻译2年制课程，利兹大学MA in conference interpretation and translation studies以及曼彻斯特的口译和笔译MA。大家觉得申请四个学校会不会有点少？
我周六要参加纽卡斯尔的面试，翻译专业的老师会来，想问一下穿什么衣服比较好，有什么注意事项。
另外我对艺术翻译也很有兴趣，想知道专业人士对这个行业的看法。
