我奶牛！楼上的也都太会乱来了，明明答案都在那里了还答错，而且还带解释的……
1.percent前面加数词时不加s，这个要我解释我也解释不了，它就是这么规定的，记住就是了。此题中主语要看of的后面，是city，故用was。若是Fifty percent of the students ……后面的谓语动词就要用复数。
2.A选项应该是the same size as,larger吧。此句翻译作“中国（土地面积）差不多和美国一样，但它的人口却是美国的六倍（按题目翻译是六倍，但现在中国人口应该没有美国人口的六倍吧）”和……一样多用the same ... as（省略号处为名词）或as ...as ... （第一个省略号处为形容词，第二个为名词），故第一空填as large as 或 the same size as都可以；而第二空由于主语是population,故要用larger（这个也是固定搭配）
